Negrete-Lopez to speak as part of Faculty Justice Network’s Faculty Talks series

Gloria Negrete-Lopez, an assistant professor of women’s and gender studies, will discuss her cultural study, “Let Go of What Doesn’t Serve You: Screen-Printing as Abolitionist Cultural Work” from 4:30-5:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, on Zoom.

Her presentation will examine digital and screen-printed artwork by artists and migrants who use their creativity to challenge anti-immigrant discourses, sentiments and actions. 

The 2023 Faculty Talks series spotlights the research scholarship of Faculty Justice Network faculty and graduate students.
