Purpose2Action connects students to community project

Purpose2Action

An outcome of the Office of the Provost's Academic Innovation Summit, Purpose2Action is an exciting program that provides Pell-eligible undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage with their communities and find their purpose through meaningful work.

Participants will work with nonprofit and public sector organizations on mission-critical projects by using strength training and exploring issues related to power, privilege, identity and systems of oppression.

P2A is committed to building a diverse and inclusive community, welcoming students of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, religious affiliations and areas of interest.

It is essential that P2A participants share values, identities and lived experiences with the communities with which they partner, and ensure that the work is authentic, respectful and effective.

Whether working in person, hybrid or remotely, participants will have the opportunity to explore, contribute and grow, and gain valuable skills and experiences that will prepare them for future success.
