The West Virginia Division of Highways began a road-widening project this week along Beechurst Avenue, extending from Campus Drive to University Avenue.
As part of the project, this area of Beechurst Avenue will be reduced to two-way traffic for the next several months. Work is expected to be completed in early August prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
In the meantime, drivers should expect delays when traveling on this portion of Beechurst Avenue and are encouraged to use alternative routes whenever possible.
