A Ramadan message from the Muslim Students Association

Ramadan

Muslim Mountaineers will abstain from food and drinks from dawn to dusk for 29-30 days starting Thursday (March 23).

Muslims aim to perfect their character and acts of worship during Ramadan by praying in congregation, reflecting upon the Quran, donating to charities and more. Muslims look forward to spending more time with their friends and families eating delicious food and bonding over their love for Islam.

Muslim students strive to be productive while making the most out of the holy month.

Iftar, the first meal of the day, is eaten at sunset between 7-9 p.m. Instructors, please note that this will conflict with exams.

The Muslim Student Association will host weekly events during the month of Ramadan open to Muslims and non-Muslims. Join us for the first Iftar catered by Chaang Thai at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday (March 23) at the Islamic Center of Morgantown, 434 Harding Avenue.
