The WVU Council for Gender Equity is seeking nominations for its annual service award.
The Mary Catherine Buswell Award, established in 1978, honors a University faculty member, staff member, student or West Virginia resident who has provided outstanding service to women at WVU. Service should go above and beyond the individual’s regular assignment.
Award recipients are chosen for excellence in their field, community and civic activities, or significant pioneering activities that serve and advance women.
The winner will be awarded $1,000 for travel, supplies, salary supplement or any other use permitted by WVU policies.
