The Office of the Provost, in partnership with WVU Libraries, the WVU Humanities Center and WVU Press, will host the 8th annual Long-Form Celebration of creative work produced by University faculty and staff.

This event is particularly special for our University community because it gives us the opportunity to highlight the commitment, hard work and achievements of those who are helping to propel our institution forward.

Individuals included in our virtual showcase exemplify the individual and collaborative efforts that keep WVU at the forefront of teaching, learning, insight and discovery.

The celebration is designed to recognize the achievements of all faculty and staff members who have published a book, released a CD or produced a full-length work in another medium like art, theater, film, dance or others.

It is exciting to recognize scholarship within the arts and humanities, as well as within the social and behavioral sciences, science, technology, engineering and medical disciplines.

To be eligible for submission, the work must have been published, released or produced between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022.

The deadline to complete the online submission form is Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Participants will be part of a virtual showcase on the Provost’s website that honors and celebrates innovative and creative scholarship.

Note: All participants will be asked to submit a high-resolution image of their work or the actual work for display purposes, if possible. Be sure to have the image ready for upload when completing the submission form.

If you have questions about the form or if it does not accommodate the information about your work, email provost@mail.wvu.edu for clarification.
