The deadline to submit a faculty application for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience program is Friday (Feb. 17).
SURE is a paid undergraduate research experience for students interested in graduate school and research/creative work within their discipline or a related discipline.
2023 SURE program dates are May 30 to July 28.
Note: Due to funding limitations, participation in the funded portion of WVU SURE may be limited to once per undergraduate.
The NSF-funded KY-WV LSAMP Alliance provides funding to support an additional five undergraduate STEM majors in SURE who are also underrepresented persons (e.g., Hispanic, African American) and U.S. citizens/permanent residents of the U.S. or its territories. WVU students who fit these demographics are encouraged to apply to SURE.
