Senate Bill 10, which would permit campus carry in classrooms and in certain campus buildings and spaces, passed in a 29-4 vote by the full West Virginia Senate earlier this week.
The legislation is now up for consideration in the House of Delegates.
On Wednesday (Jan. 25), President Gordon Gee and Marshall University President Brad Smith sent a new joint letter to members of the House Judiciary Committee where the bill will be taken up first.
