The Office of Graduate Education and Life recognized its new and returning graduate fellows during a reception in October.
Twenty-six new fellows from across the nation began their graduate studies at WVU in August, and the 2022-23 academic year presents a total of 71 students who have received esteemed fellowship awards and are hard at work in research.

The fellows were recognized in a brief ceremony by Betty Mei, program director, Richard Thomas, interim associate provost for graduate academic affairs, and Jessica Queener, assistant provost for graduate education policy.
Marisela Aguilar, STEM fellow and a graduate student in psychology, provided short remarks on her experiences as a graduate fellow at WVU.
