WVU Online and the Teaching and Learning Commons are partnering with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive in memory of Keith Bailey from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 1) at the Student Rec Center.
Bailey, who served as the assistant provost for Teaching and Learning and the dean of WVU Online, passed away Dec. 2, 2020, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia.
He received multiple blood and platelet transfusions following his diagnosis, extending his time with his family, friends and colleagues. He was also able to keep innovating and working at WVU.
Bailey would have been 52 this year, so we are setting a goal of 52 units of blood collected by the end of 2022.
To reserve a donation time, visit www.redcrossblood.org or scan the QR code.
If you live in or near Morgantown, but Dec. 1 does not work with your schedule, please select another day before the end of 2022.
If you don’t live near Morgantown, type in your zip code to find a blood drive near you.
