The WVU Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will hold an in-person Mental Health First Aid Training for University employees from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion conference room.
Attendees can expect to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both non-crisis and crisis situations and where to turn for help.
Registration will be on a first come, first served basis as there are only 12 spaces available.
