WELLWVU, Collegiate Recovery and Residence Life have partnered to provide naloxone kits to students living in the residence halls. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist that quickly reverses the effects of an opioid overdose
The WVU community is invited to attend one of two training sessions to learn how to use the naloxone kit on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Register to attend the 3:30-4:30 p.m. session.
Register to attend the 7-8 p.m. session.
The kits, located near the front desk of each residence hall, have been made available by the West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute and grant funds received by Collegiate Recovery from the Department of Health and Human Resources.
