The WVU Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will hold a Mental Health First Aid training virtually for WVU employees from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 18 and Oct. 20.
Participants must attend both sessions.
Attendees can expect to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both non-crisis and crisis situations and where to turn for help.
Registration will be on a first come, first served basis as there are only 15 spaces available.
