WVU observing Hazing Prevention Week

Hazing Prevention

WVU is observing Hazing Prevention Week this week (Sept. 26-30) with a series of in-person and virtual events.

Sponsored by the WVU Hazing Prevention Task Force, the purpose of this year's observance is to raise awareness on what constitutes hazing and educate members of the University community on where to report hazing.

Kimberly and TJ Burch, parents of Nolan Burch, will keynote the inaugural Prevention Summit on Friday (Sept. 30). The Summit will close with a 2 p.m. screening of the Emmy award winning documentary "Breathe, Nolan, Breathe" in the Blue Ballroom of the Mountainlair, followed by a question and answer period with the Burches open to the WVU community.
