Eighteen months after West Virginia University first announced an initiative to improve technology processes and systems across the WVU System, the WVU Modernization Program team has launched a new video series, called Future Focus, to provide updates on the program’s progress.

The WVU Modernization Program, which formally kicked off earlier this year, seeks to ensure WVU will become the land-grant university of the future. This multi-year initiative will transform and advance many of our University’s technology systems and processes.

To guide the program, the WVU Modernization Program team is working on a number of foundational projects to create a strategic foundation for future-state integrated services and technologies at the University.

Since the program’s launch, the team has worked and collaborated with hundreds of leaders, strategists and subject matter experts in a variety of areas across WVU. The program team will continue to involve many students, faculty and staff in the coming months as efforts continue.

To learn about the WVU Modernization Program’s progress, faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a Campus Conversation on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. The event will be held virtually via Zoom. More information on the event, including the link to watch, will be provided in early October.

In the meantime, visit the WVU Modernization Program website for more information. If you have questions or feedback, contact modernizationprogram@mail.wvu.edu.
