Adventure seekers will no longer need their own boat, paddleboard or bike to enjoy the Monongahela River and Rail Trail.
Adventure WV now offers recreation equipment rentals in downtown Morgantown at the new rental facility located at Walnut Street Landing.
Rentals are open to the public and University affiliates and students qualify for special discounts.
“Morgantown is fortunate to have two great recreational assets in the Mon River and the Rail Trail system,” Nathan Harlan, executive director of the Office of Student Wellness, said. “Now, with the opening of a rental service, more residents, students and visitors can take advantage of both.”
“WVU is excited to partner with the City of Morgantown to bring their experience with outdoor recreation (through Adventure WV) to help provide boats, bikes, and other rec equipment for rental right on the river and trail,” Harlan added.
