Rose Casey, assistant professor of English in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, will explore the limits of the law, how creative writers respond to injustice, and what readers can learn from studying literature and the law together during her Honors College Faculty Fellows webinar set for 6 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 30).
During her presentation, Casey will discuss environmental law, citizenship and nationality law, property law and international human rights law, as well as literary texts and legal instruments from countries as diverse as India, Nigeria, Bolivia, and the United States. She hopes to inspire others to think expansively about justice – what it is, what it has been and what it could be.
The webinar is open to the WVU campus community.
