New aquatic exercise classes offered at the Student Rec Center

Swim Program

Two new aquatic fitness classes will be offered this fall at the Student Rec Center. Morning Movement will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. and HIIT the Deck Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. 

Morning Movement, Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m.

Jump-start your day with this low impact aquatic exercise class. Each session will keep you moving through a diverse set of exercise combinations, including flexibility, range of motion and balance techniques. Exercisers of all levels, beginner to advanced, are encouraged to join the class. 

HIIT the Deck, Tuesday, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

This high-intensity aquatic exercise class is guaranteed to get your heart pumping and body moving. Join us for 45 minutes of intense full-body exercise challenging both strength and endurance. Exercises are carried out in shallow water and swimming skills are not required.
