Several Welcome Week 2022 events will take place at and around the Student Recreation Center, affecting access and operations. WVU Campus Recreation will offer several alternatives to its members during this period.
The Downtown Fitness Center at Reynolds Hall will be open starting Sunday (Aug. 14). Hours for the facility are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Additionally, the Mylan Park Aquatic & Track Complex is available to current WVU Campus Recreation members. The facility is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. To access Mylan Park, bring your ID card. If you use the virtual WVUGO app, please bring a license or other form of ID.
While the Student Recreation Center will be open, please keep in mind the following closures:
Saturday, Aug. 13:
The Student Recreation Center will open at noon.
The pool will be closed all day.
The upper courts will be offline all day.
Sunday, Aug. 14:
Short Term Lot 4 will be closed all day.
The upper courts will be offline until 5 p.m.
The pool will be closed until 5 p.m.
The climbing wall will be closed all day.
Limited access to lower fitness rooms.
The Rec Fields will be offline for Fall Fest preparations.
Monday, Aug. 15:
Short Term Lot 4 will be closed all day.
The upper courts will be offline until 5 p.m.
The climbing wall will be closed all day.
The pool will be closed until 5 p.m.
Limited access to lower fitness rooms.
The Rec Fields will be offline for Fall Fest preparations.
Tuesday, Aug. 16:
The Student Recreation Center will close at 4 p.m.
The upper courts will be offline all day.
The climbing wall will be closed all day.
Lot 49 and Short Term Lot 4 will be closed all day.
