11 West Virginia University Board of Governors (BOG) Rules have been posted online today (June 27) for public comment. The BOG has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to potentially amend:
WVU BOG Governance Rule 1.4 – Ethics, Conflicts of Interest, and Outside Consulting Arrangements
WVU BOG Talent & Culture Rule 3.1 – Administration & Employment Practices
WVU BOG Talent & Culture Rule 3.2 – Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity
WVU BOG Talent & Culture Rule 3.3 – Classification & Compensation
The proposed changes are to amend current BOG Rules to clarify certain provisions and update the Rules to reflect changes that have occurred since their adoption.

The revisions will be posted for public comment for 30 days beginning today and ending on Wednesday, July 27.
All public comments received will be posted on the University’s policy website. The Rules may be changed, subject to comments received. The comments, or summary thereof, and final proposed Rules will be posted for 10 days prior to the BOG taking final action.
