City of Morgantown road paving this week

Hough Street

Crews from the City of Morgantown are working on our local roads this week, including some roads near the WVU campus.

Inclement weather has impacted the previously released paving schedule. According to the adjusted schedule, Webster Avenue and Grandview Avenue will be paved today (June 15). Prospect Street and Hough Street will be paved tomorrow (June 16).

Additionally, milling operations are scheduled to restart tomorrow on McCullough Street, Hoffman Avenue and Van Gilder Avenue.

Faculty, staff, students and campus visitors may want to consider other travel routes this week to avoid delays. Detours and adjusted traffic flows may be provided when necessary.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as crews work to improve our city’s roads. Visit the WVU Facilities and Services website for additional information on maintenance at WVU. Contact the Facilities and Services team at FacilitiesandServices@mail.wvu.edu with any questions.
