The single sign-on login screen labeled “Central Authentication Service” will have a new look after an update Sunday, May 15. All employees and students will see a brief statement informing them they are consenting to the Acceptable Use Policy. The process will work the same as it does now.

Authentication may be briefly unavailable while this change is being made. The self-service site, login.wvu.edu, is undergoing normal maintenance at this time and will have limited functionality 8 a.m.-noon.

The security statement being added to the login process is the same message you see after rebooting a WVU-owned or -managed computer. It is part of the University’s ongoing effort to improve security and regulatory compliance.
