Beginning Monday, May 2, the campus community and students can drop off unwanted items at any WVU residence hall as well as four drop off locations around Morgantown. Acceptable items include but are not limited to furniture, clothing, appliances, décor, sporting equipment, electronics and the list goes on.
WVU’s Blue and Gold Mine Sale, an annual yard-sale like event, will offer great deals on donated goods Saturday, May 14, from 7 a.m.-noon and 4-6 p.m. at the East Concourse of Milan Puskar Stadium. Evening hours are new this year and all items will be 50 percent off during these hours. Admission is $5 for the morning session and free for the evening session.
This event keeps about 25 tons of goods out of landfills annually and all proceeds benefit WVU’s campaign for the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.
Donations will be collected May 2 through May 11 at the following locations:
