The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative is offering one-on-one technical assistance sessions for Sparking Early Literacy Growth grant seekers. Representatives from West Virginia University, Marshall University and the West Virginia Department of Education will be available to provide feedback on grant proposals and guidance regarding early literacy components.

Sparking Early Literacy Growth projects aim to improve West Virginia’s literacy scores by the end of the third grade. Grant applicants may apply for up to $50,000 in funding by proposing innovative learning opportunities, engaging projects, professional development programs, or other creative ways to support West Virginia’s youngest learners.

Participation in technical assistance sessions does not guarantee funding or provide any explicit or implied advantage during the proposal review phase.
