WVU to celebrate National Collegiate Recovery Week

Join the WVU Collegiate Recovery Program in celebrating National Collegiate Recovery Week, April 11-14. This yearly event, organized by the Association of Recovery in Higher Education recognizes the contributions of collegiate programs across the country.  

Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the following activities:

  • April 11, 9:30 -11:30 a.m., Trivia and prizes tabling, Mountainlair

  • April 12, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tie Dye event, Mountainlair Green

  •  April 14, 5-7 p.m., Coffee and Bingo Night at Serenity Place, 628 Price Street

  •  April 11 -14, Collegiate Recovery Flag display, Woodburn Circle

The WVU community is also encouraged to participate in the national #WearPurple campaign on April 14 to show your support for individuals living in recovery.  

There are 156 collegiate recovery programs across the country. The Association of Recovery in Higher Education was founded in 2010 and recognizes April 15  as Collegiate Recovery Day.
