The WVU Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will hold two free virtual Mental Health and First Aid Trainings for WVU Employees. The training will be split into two sessions April 26 from 9 a.m.-noon and April 28 from 2-5 p.m. You must attend both three-hour sessions to participate in the training.
Attendees can expect to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations and where to turn for help.
Participation will be on a first come, first serve basis as there are only 12 spaces available.
