The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative’s second round of Sparking Early Literacy Growth grant applications is now open and interested applicants are strongly encouraged to participate in an informational session to review grant guidelines and criteria, as well as serve as a sounding board for ideas and answer questions, tomorrow (March 30) at 4 p.m.

Register for this virtual session.

Sparking Early Literacy Growth projects aim to improve West Virginia’s literacy scores by the end of the third grade. Grant applicants may apply for up to $50,000 in funding by proposing innovative learning opportunities, engaging projects, professional development programs, or other creative ways to support West Virginia’s youngest learners.

Additional informational sessions and one-on-one technical assistance will also be available.
