And How Much Work Do You Want Me To Do? Student-Centered Grading Strategies

Teaching And Learning Commons New Graphic

In this online session, two faculty members will discuss some of the lessons they’ve learned over the course of the pandemic March 9 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

As Lisa DiBartolomeo, teaching professor of Russian studies and Slavic and East European studies, and Matthew Heap, assistant professor of composition and theory, shifted assignments and assessments, they found new and creative ways to engage and evaluate student learning that went beyond traditional tests and assignments.

DiBartolomeo and Heap will offer a window into the techniques they developed and discuss what they discovered about their classes, their students and themselves.
