The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program will offer faculty, staff and students several virtual and in-person Recovery Ally training sessions throughout the spring semester to help learn tools to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and eating disorders.

The hour-long training provides attendees with education to better understand the process of recovery, help confront stigma related to addiction and utilize appropriate language when discussing substance use disorders, eating disorders and other mental health and behavioral concerns.

Participants will also learn about available resources in Morgantown and best practices to help those in need access services.

All trainings will be held at 10 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Jan. 24

  • Feb. 21

  • March 28

  • April 25

All participants must RSVP to Oliva Dale Pape at olivia.pape@mail.wvu.edu.
