Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion announces Spring 2022 DEI Classroom schedule

The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has announced its DEI Classroom series schedule for the Spring 2022 semester.

"This will allow individuals to participate in trainings and educational opportunities without having to belong to a group that is requesting and/or receiving these trainings," said Amy Kittle, assistant director for prevention and education.

DEI Classroom topics for spring include:

  • Stop. Act. Respect. Bystander Intervention.

  • Higher Level: Part 1 – Examining and Understanding Implicit Bias.

  • Children on Campus Training - Rule on Child Protection.

  • Stalking Public Awareness Campus Workshop.

  • One Love Escalation.

  • Consent & Ice Cream.

  • Title IX Process Overview.

  • Empower Me: Overview for Adults.

  • Title IX.

  • Higher Level: Part II – Understanding Bias in the Context of Power & Oppression.
