To accommodate maintenance and enhancements to West Virginia University's steam infrastructure, the Facilities and Services team will beak ground next week on an underground projects on Evansdale Drive near the Evansdale Residential Complex (Towers).
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Dec. 27. The project is slated to continue through late March.
Mountain Line Transit Authority will continue to provide bus service to the area throughout the project. However, as construction continues, the Route 1 Campus PM bus loop eventually will temporarily be relocated through the small parking lot next to Brooke Tower.
Work is not expected to cause any disruptions to pedestrian or vehicular traffic in the area.
