Attend kickoff to In My Opinion: Reproductive Healthcare Matters, an event series focused on women

Pregnant woman

The WVU Women's Resource Center and the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies are partnering on a new event series just for women. In My Opinion invites WVU women to come together and have open, candid discussions about issues that impact women.

All are encouraged to attend this kickoff event in person or virtually tomorrow (Oct. 15) from noon-1 p.m.

Join WVU assistant professor of English and author Christa Parravani for a candid conversation about reproductive healthcare. She will share some of her personal experiences and offer a space to discuss difficult choices women often have to make about their bodies and their futures, which are also covered in her recent book, “Loved and Wanted: A Memoir of Choice, Children, and Womanhood.”

Parravani is also the author of Indie bestselling “Her: A Memoir,” which shares Parravani's journey through grief after the loss of her identical twin sister Cara.

RSVP for this event.
