Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore continues her weekly series of short videos, exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other.
This week’s video, released Sept. 28, addresses community.
“There’s something special about that feeling of being a part of something larger than yourself – that feeling of having a place to belong,” said Poore. “Building and celebrating community is my job and your job. It takes all Mountaineers of every race, gender, religion, ability, sexual orientation…Mountaineers of all income levels, professions, political affiliation, and ages.”
