WVU expanded its partnership with Care.com last year to offer senior care planning resources to eligible employees and retirees at no cost.
Senior care planning provides access to professional guidance and assistance when dealing with aging loved ones.
Benefits include:
A dedicated senior care advisor with a master’s level social work degree.
A personalized action plan.
Assistance in finding senior care providers.
Help understanding all available options.
Since its launch in November 2016, WVU’s partnership with Care.com, a national organization of caregivers that brings eligible employees and members of the WVU Retirees Association, has seen great success. Care@Work membership is free.
Through the Care.com site, eligible employees currently have access to services, such as babysitters, senior caregivers, pet sitters, housekeepers and others – no matter where they are nationwide – by signing up with their official WVU email address.
