WVU families with children are invited to join the Mountaineer KidZone teachers June 30 from 6-7 p.m. on Zoom for a virtual family-fun “trip” to the beach with stories, games, crafts and lessons about sun safety.
Each child registered will receive an activity packet with supplies to make a sparkly fish craft, a kit to make a bracelet with special beads that detect UV light courtesy of our friends at the WVU Extension office, and a few other beachy surprises!
To pick up the activity packets for this virtual seashore adventure come to the white tent near the convenient blue Field Rec pod located just outside of the Student Rec Center on the Evansdale Campus on:
Thursday, June 24, from 4-6 p.m.
Friday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday, June 28, from 4-6 p.m.
Tuesday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activity packets are limited to the first 100 children registered, but packets are not required to join this live virtual event.
