Upcoming landscaping enhancements to Elizabeth Moore Hall

E Moore Hall

As part of campus beautification efforts in preparation for the fall semester, the West Virginia University Facilities Management Roads and Grounds team will be performing landscaping and infrastructure enhancements along the exteriors surrounding Elizabeth Moore Hall.

Beginning Wednesday (May 19), the team will remove hedges surrounding the building. This work is expected to be completed by Friday (May 21).

Next week, the team will pressure wash the building’s exterior walls prior to landscaping and performing lawn restoration in the area. The project will complete with the addition of post-and-chain barriers along the building’s sidewalk areas.

While crews may have to temporarily block off sections of sidewalk in the area to accommodate this work, ingress and egress at Elizabeth Moore Hall will remain open throughout the project.

The project’s completion date will be weather-dependent. In the meantime, the Facilities Management team appreciates your patience as we work to enhance our campus prior to welcoming back students to campus this fall.
