The Honors College is proud to recognize our graduating seniors at two virtual ceremonies Thursday (May 13). Faculty, staff, students and the greater WVU community are all welcome to join graduating seniors, their families and friends in recognizing the accomplishments of these amazing students.

The ceremonies will be available and featured on the Honors social media accounts, including the Honors College YouTube channel.

Honors Medallion Ceremony at 5 p.m.

  • May 2021 graduates who have completed our Honors Four-Year Program either as Dean’s or Presidential Scholars will be recognized in the ceremony. These students will be the last to graduate at WVU under this program.

Honors Recognition Ceremony at 6 p.m.

  • May 2021 graduates who are Honors Foundations Scholars, Honors EXCEL Scholars and Honors Laureates (who have completed both programs) will be recognized at this ceremony.

Both events will include remarks by President Gee, Honors Dean Kenneth Blemings and keynote speaker and Honors graduate Travis Rosiek, CTSO for BluVector, a Comcast Company.

Ceremonies will also feature individual recognition of graduating seniors.
