In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, join the Outreach Committee of the WVU Council for Gender Equity for the 5th Annual Champagne for SANEs fundraiser to benefit the WV Foundation for Rape Information and Services Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Fund.
This event has raised more than $10,000.
FRIS provides specialized training for nurses so they can become certified as SANE nurses, with the ability to conduct sexual assault evidentiary exams for rape victims in our community.
This year’s event will include two components:
An online virtual auction April 23-29 with all proceeds benefiting FRIS.
A dine-in or carry-out option at Table 9 April 29 from 4-9 p.m. with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the training fund.
