Updates to the HR Partner organization structure

To provide greater alignment across the services and support we provide and simplify how we operate, the HR Partner organization recently transitioned to a four-team structure rather than five teams.

With this change, the HR Partner organization also has moved away from a numeric naming convention and will be associated by color moving forward: Team Gold, Team Red, Team Blue and Team Green.

As a result, the vanity email addresses faculty and staff may use to communicate with their HR Partner teams have changed:




Amber Tennant, director of the HR Partners, said, “The HR Partner organization launched in early 2020, and since that time, we have continued to simplify and standardize how we operate to ensure we are providing the best service possible to our clients across West Virginia University. Based on feedback from our clients, I am confident these changes will better position our team to respond to the ever-changing needs of the University.”
