WVCTSI is continuing a virtual grant writing workshop for anyone interested in learning how to develop a competitive NIH application March 18 and 19, from 9-11 a.m. These sessions will cover multiple NIH funding mechanisms Fellowship (F Awards), Career Development (K Awards) and Research Program Grants (R Awards).
Participants will also learn the NIH grant review process and strategies on how to prepare a successful grant application for these awards. Sessions will be presented by Joan M. Lakoski, WVCTSI director of investigator development, and Robert Milner, senior associate dean for faculty affairs with the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine.
