The Office of the Provost invites faculty and instructors to attend “Engaging Online Learners in the Second Half of the Semester,” a workshop focused on teaching in synchronous and asynchronous online environments, today (March 15) from 4-5 p.m.
This session will extend the conversation initiated during the first workshop “Engaging Learners In-Person and Online;” however, participation in this workshop is not necessary to make meaning of this new material.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on classroom engagement in the first half of the semester and consider strategies to improve engagement in online modalities.
Presenters include: Sarah Morris of the Eberly College, Robin Hissam of the Statler College, and Stephanie Lorenze and Malayna Bernstein of the College of Education and Human Services. Suzanne Gosden Kitchen of the Chambers College will moderate the event.
RSVP online by March 15 to attend the workshop.
