The Office of the Provost invites faculty, instructors and academic leaders to a workshop that will focus on the benefits of self-compassion. “Self-Compassion: The Heart of Mindfulness” will be offered at two different times tomorrow (March 16) via Zoom.
Monica Leppma will highlight how the practice of self-compassion addresses mindful awareness, social connectedness and self-kindness. Leppma will teach the benefits of incorporating self-compassion to alleviate stress and promote wellness through meditation and other practices that involve relating to ourselves in a caring, supportive and compassionate way.
