WVU families with children are invited to join the Mountaineer KidZone teachers and the WVU Alternate Mountaineer Brooke Ashby, to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday on Tuesday, March 2, at 6 p.m. This event will include taking the Reader’s Oath, playing Dr. Seuss BINGO, listening to his fabulous, tongue-twisting stories and much more. Each child registered will receive an activity kit with a variety of themed items that are sure to enhance this silly, Seussical celebration.
To pick up your activity kit, use the convenient Field Rec pod located just outside of the Student Rec Center on the following dates:
Thursday, Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 26 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday, March 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kits are limited to the first 100 children registered, but kits are not required to join this live virtual event.
Event registration begins on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
