Libraries offering citation manager workshop series

computer laptop

Attend a WVU Libraries online citation manager workshop to learn how to use tools to organize, format and share citations. At their most basic, citation managers allow users to:

  • Organize articles, books, webpages (and lots more) for use in research.
  • Format and create bibliographies using a particular citation style, to export into a research document.

More advanced features in citation management tools allow users to:

  • Link to source materials.
  • Store source materials.
  • Insert in-text citations, footnotes, and bibliography entries while writing in a word processor.
  • Collaborate with others.
  • Annotate within PDFs.
