The Mountaineer Undergraduate Research Review (MURR), WVU's student-led undergraduate research journal, is currently seeking undergraduate-authored research articles and cover art for MURR, Volume 6, Issue 1. Faculty are asked to encourage students to consider submitting to MURR as an introduction to the publishing process. Online publication is anticipated for May.
Priority consideration will be given to articles received by March 1. Accepted articles requiring additional editing may be held over to the subsequent fall semester and considered for later publication.
Priority consideration will be given to cover art received by April 23. First place winners have a chance to earn $150 loaded on a prepaid MasterCard and have their artwork featured as the cover for MURR, Volume 6, Issue 1. Runners up will have the opportunity for their artwork and written synopsis to be showcased inside the journal and published alongside research articles.
