To help people leaders and staff self-manage their learning and development needs and reach their professional development goals, the Division of Talent and Culture’s Leadership and Organization Development team is launching the LOD Class Registration Portal today (Jan. 27).
The portal will provide users with greater functionality and enhanced capabilities for managing their learning and development. Highlights of the platform include the ability to:

browse a full list of class offerings;

self-enroll in topics of interest;
-
join waiting lists (for classes that are full);
-
print proof-of-completion certificates; and
-
view transcripts for completed classes.
Note: You must create a profile to access the portal. Those interested in learning how the portal operates are invited to register for one of the following virtual training.

Register for Tuesday, Feb 2, from 1-2 p.m.
LOD offers three categories of learning and development training classes: Leadership Development (specifically for people leaders), Professional Development (open to both people leaders and staff) and New Employees (designed specifically for all new people leaders and staff).
Class offerings will cover a broad range of topics through live and recorded webinars, eLearning, virtual toolkits and in-person sessions (Morgantown campus only; currently not available due to COVID-19). Examples include:

Leadership Essentials (hybrid: live webinar and eLearning).

Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace – An Essential Skill for Employees (eLearning).

People Leaders as the Everyday Coach: The Secret of Courageous Conversations (live webinar).

Leading Through Change (live webinar).
All LOD classes will be available at no cost. Participants should check the class offerings periodically as new content will be added.
While the Office of the Provost hosts multiple Faculty and Leadership Development offerings specifically for faculty, faculty members also are welcome to participate in LOD’s class offerings. Faculty who supervise employees are encouraged to enroll in LOD’s Leadership Development classes.
