COVID-19 testing returns to Rec Center

covid testing with swab

COVID-19 testing testing will return to the Student Rec Center starting today (Jan. 25). Testing will now take place in the lower gym.

Those who need tested must enter the Rec Center through an entrance on the ground floor of the facility next to parking lot 49, which is near the Health and Education building via Rec Center Drive. Parking in area 49 is free to those who are tested.

The WVU Student Rec Center testing site was temporarily closed last week while the facility was prepared for increased COVID-19 vaccinations in the coming weeks.

Community COVID-19 testing provided by the Monongalia County Health Department will be held at the WVU Student Rec Center today (Jan. 25) and Friday (Jan. 29) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., as well.
