The Division of Talent and Culture announce the expansion of the WVU Perks Program to include new voluntary, direct-pay insurance options for benefits-eligible employees of WVU, WVU Research Corporation and members of the WVU Retirees Association. These options include auto, home and renters insurance, long-term care resources, pet insurance and identity theft protection.

The second voluntary insurance option is brought to WVU by Nationwide. A pet insurance policy from Nationwide helps pay for your pet’s treatments, surgeries, lab fees, X-rays and much more. You’ll have peace of mind knowing you can care for your pet no matter the cost. Nationwide plans offer freedom to choose your veterinarian, anywhere in the United States.

The third voluntary insurance option is brought to WVU by Long-Term Care Resources. LTCR provides help to families navigating long-term care needs and dealing with the complex financial and emotional challenges of long-term care. Let LTCR help you find solutions to pay for long-term care, assist with finding quality care, audit the care being received and create legal documents.

Registering as a WVU Perks member is quick, easy and secure. Register as member, gain access to the local and national network for deals and discounts and explore all of the new voluntary insurance options.

Eligible employees and retirees should keep an eye out for additional information to be shared by Benefits Strategy in the coming months. Questions regarding the program may be directed to WVUPerks@mail.wvu.edu.
