Coming soon: Office 365 offers helpful daily Cortana 'Briefing' emails

cortana briefing

Starting on or around Sunday (Nov. 1) you will see a daily Cortana Briefing message, a new tool to help you manage tasks, in your @mail.wvu.edu inbox. This feature is already available for @hsc.wvu.edu accounts.

Microsoft created this personalized brief to help you prepare for meetings and manage work by suggesting focus times, tasks and documents to review at the start of your day. Cortana, Microsoft's virtual productivity assistant, generates the list using available information in your Outlook email account. Briefing messages will come from cortana@microsoft.com with "Your daily briefing" as the subject line.

You are the only one who can see insights and productivity suggestions, and you may not receive a daily Briefing if you don’t have relevant content or meetings in Outlook.

If you don’t want this assistance, you can unsubscribe by visiting cortana.office.com. If you change your mind, you can re-subscribe at any time using the same link.

For more information on the daily Briefing, see Microsoft Daily Briefing Email from Cortana on the ITS self-help site.
