Make Your Voice Heard: Participate in the WVU Retirement Survey

At WVU, we are committed to supporting our faculty and staff and keeping them engaged throughout their careers — from hire to retire.

To this end, the Division of Talent and Culture has spent a tremendous amount of time and energy in recent years on culture improvement initiatives and programs focused on attracting and retaining top talent. And although we have made some significant strides in these areas, we also recognize opportunities still exist to further differentiate WVU as an employer of choice.

Throughout the past several months, we have received numerous inquiries from faculty and staff regarding their retirement eligibility, retirement benefits and phased retirement options.

Based on this feedback, we recently partnered with the Office of the Provost to take a close look at our current retirement programs, trainings and support offerings to ensure they are comprehensive and consider the needs of all faculty and staff.

As part of these efforts, we want to hear from you. Regardless of where you are in your career, please share your thoughts by completing a brief survey focused on retirement planning, transitioning to retirement and post-retirement activities.

Take the WVU Retirement Survey

All benefits-eligible faculty and staff employed by WVU (including those located at the WVU Keyser and WVU Beckley campuses), WVU Research Corporation and WVU Innovation Corporation are invited to take part in the survey.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. However, please note we have included a demographics section in the survey to help us better understand the results.

The survey responses will be used to identify retirement programs and offerings the University should retain, modify or develop. The results also will influence the types of retirement training and support we offer faculty and staff.

Thank you for making your voice heard by participating in the WVU Retirement Survey. Visit the Talent and Culture website for more information. Contact Talent and Culture at TalentandCulture@mail.wvu.edu with any questions. You also may contact your HR Partner.
